Divine synchronicity,
but there's the evil kind too.
I've experienced both,
which was something new.
Realizing everything
matters, especially what I do.
I'm writing this for
myself, but I've found a new crew.
Found a place to lay my
head, to nicely reside.
The sun emerged, as a
prayer replied.
I think during my last
binge a part of me died,
Hope it doesn't show
it's face again and get revived.
Don't wanna go back,
But I'm lookin in the
rear view.
Growth is something I
can't lack,
And my obstacles gotta
stumble through.
To come out on the other
side,
Better from the
experience,
On the waves of life I
happily ride,
Until they crash, and
you can almost hear it.
Funny fascinations,
inspiration everywhere.
Fickle presentations,
but I don't really care.
Hell is a place, and
I've definitely been there,
And my shoes are a
status symbol, just thought I'd share.
For other people in
society to judge me off gate,
We're all walking
billboards, but on that I won't meditate.
The brand names aren't
branded on our souls though,
Souls are infinite and
priceless, know what I mean bro?
Now, as the sunrise
tries to put me to sleep,
Intellectual and
spiritual stimulation is all I seek.
Noticing stuff and not
calling it coincidence or luck,
Is something I can
appreciate, and enjoy it much.
Divine synchronicity,
but there's the malevolent kind too.
My friends and family
hold the pieces of me together like glue.
They're what really
matters, at the end of the day,
As I'm back on the path,
I'm ever grateful I wandered astray.
